On the way to Bombala, a small line side siding stop located about 15mins south of Nimmitabel is found. Holts Flat Siding was a small siding built to service the farms in the area. The station was constructed as a PC-1 concrete building  and was closed in 1975.

This small siding has remarkably withstood nature and time. It still stands albeit with some damage.

A small road side tells you where the siding is..

Yet again the windswept Monaro landscape is dominating the area , low grass and few trees. The afternoon light was just superb for photographing i found. The only traffic the line sees nowdays is cattle / cows as they feed on the grass on the siding and surrounding hillsides.
